How long will my order take?

There are a lot of factors that go into completion time of each order:

• Orders that were placed before you.  We are a small company, and during holiday seasons we tend to get extremely busy.  To get an accurate quote on when your order can be started and finished, contact us and we can give you accurate timeframe.

• Different print takes different time to complete.  Nightlights take 24 hours, mini lamps take 3-5 days, and large lamps take 7+days

• Sometimes print fails.  Due to the nature of 3d printing, occasionally we will have something go wrong.  We will restart the print immediately, at no charge to you.  It just may take a few extra days to create your order

• Shipping time.  We use USPS for all orders, most of the time they are on time.  But, occasionally we have seen delays due to weather, covid, holidays etc.  Therefore we can not guarantee that your order will be received by a certain date, but we will always do our best to get your gift in time.

I want to get one as a gift for Christmas, how soon should I place my order?

As soon as possible.  Christmas is a very busy season.   With lots of orders and possible delays in shipping, the sooner you order, the more likely you will receive it in time.  We do not guarantee your order will be received by a certain date, but we will always do our best to get your gift in time.

What is the difference between standard and high quality?

Standard quality is made on a printer that heats up plastic and creates your order layer by layer.  These look good, but when you analyze the photo, you can see lines (especially in light areas, such as skies).  

High quality is made with resin that is cured with a laser.  The laser allows for far more detail.  You cannot see any lines in the high quality version, and would not even be able to tell it is 3d printed.

If you are looking for the most affordable option, the standard quality is the way to go. 

But if you want the best quality image you can get, then high quality is for you.

Do I need to take any special care of the product?

The only thing you need to do is keep products out of excessive heat. Such as a hot vehicle in the summer. Excessive heat can warp/damage the prints. Excessive exposure to sunlight can cause discoloration over years. But, I have personally had one in my window for almost 3 years and have not seen any discoloration yet.

What happens if my lightbulb goes out?

The lightbulbs we use should last for years. But if yours happens to go out make sure to replace with an LED bulb. Non-led bulbs can heat up and damage to print. Contact us if you are unsure which bulb to purchase.

I can’t choose just one picture for my nightlight, can I choose two photos?

Not a problem, we can put two photos onto one nightlight.  There will be a small charge due to the extra size of the nightlight (usually $5)

Do you offer any photo editing for nightlights/lamps?

Yes, my wife is a fantastic photographer, and a wizard with photoshop.  She can retouch skin, clean up unwanted items, and restore old photos.   The price of photo editing will depend on the complexity of the photo and request, contact us for more info.

Do I need to provide the lamp?

No, everything you need will come in your order.  Lamp, lampshade, and lightbulb are all included.

How many photos can I fit on the lamp?

Mini lamps can fit 3 vertical photos or 2 horizontal photos.  Large lamps can fit up to 4 vertical photos or 3 horizontal photos?

Can I mix and match vertical and horizontal photos?

You can, but I would not recommend it.  Combining vertical and horizontal photos means that your photos will be heavily cropped. Possibly cutting off important portions of your photos.
